Agape Ministry is committed to reaching out to others, taking full advantage of every God-given opportunity to do good, and show kindness to all people, especially unto those of the house of faith (Galatians 6:10).
This ministry has helped with medication purchase assistance, utility assistance, and food replenishment, among other requests. The congregation maintains a food pantry at the building and food is available for all who come to us requesting such assistance.
Our goal in helping others is to demonstrate the love of Jesus. We also encourage everyone we help to return and worship the Lord with us, offering Bibles and Bible studies, and Bible correspondence courses as well.
There are plenty of opportunities for one to serve in this ministry. The following are potential areas for service in this ministry for those who desire to use their talents in such a manner.
Provide food for the food pantry. Help maintain the food pantry at the building
Interview clients to respond to their requests for financial assistance
Send flowers to members admitted to the hospital and upon the death of members or immediate family members of members.
